About Me
I'm Gari. I live in Indonesia but before that I worked in Silicon Valley for 2 years doing property management (ops and admin work). Even though I didn't work in tech, I met a lot of tech professionals and founders and became familiar with how they work.
A Huge Leap
I decided to move to Indonesia in September 2023. There I solo-operated an admissions & scholarship essay review business called Esaiku. Since June 2023, I have helped applicants obtain admission to some of the world's best universities, such as Harvard, Duke, Columbia, Cornell, and NYU.

Despite Esaiku's success, the bootstrapped and seasonal nature of the business meant that I had to find other sources of income to keep it going and growing. And so I thought, with current global economic conditions, it's clear that cutting costs is crucial for survival.And so I thought: what if I work remotely for an American company?
